Officially opened on 9th September 2002 by Lord Herman Ouseley, the RESPECT Central Office is home to the Chair, Paul Haughton the General Secretary, Jaswinder Singh Nagra, and three operational staff. Now fully equipped and refurbished, the office has become a hive of activity with a constant stream of visitors and phone calls.

The Central Office is the hub of RESPECT, being responsible for a whole range of activities. Besides the normal day-to-day running of the network, like controlling the allocated budget, managing the RESPECT membership, facilitating training courses and providing support to officials, many of the ideas for the promotion of RESPECT are either born or realised here.

The RESPECT support line and the subsequent support services are co-ordinated from the Central Office, but the preliminary role is to facilitate and support the work done by Area Committees and at Local level. The Central Office team manages to combine hard work with a relaxed atmosphere and RESPECT members are always welcome to drop in to the office and meet the team that includes Yvette Farrell, Andrew Bartlett and Hetal Shah, along with The Chair and General Secretary.

We welcome all feedback regarding this site and our organisation. We will endeavour to answer any questions you may have.
